The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Ghassan Bendali the Deputy General Manager of Apple IMC-ME and Dr. Philip Hicks the college Director of Dubai Men's College.

This is not the first time that Apple IMC-ME has taken an active involvement in enhancing the higher education experience.

With a series of initiatives at several of the Middle East's leading campuses, the firm has already developed various programs that provide unique benefits to schools and colleges using Apple's professional software solutions in their curriculum.

DMC will be the first campus in the Middle East to have the Apple on Campus program.

Dubai Men's College as part of the Higher Colleges of Technology offers more than 35 programs in different fields and is one of the leading educational establishments in the region.

The Apple on Campus Online program is a fully secure, private online store that provides students with a full range of hardware, software and peripherals at exclusive and affordable prices.

Although the scheme has been traditionally designed to be accessible on the Web via the institution's intranet 24 hours a day every day, Dubai Men's College's version will be different to begin with.

Mr. Ghassan Bendali explained: 'Dubai Men's College has always showed a keen interest in the latest technologies for the benefits of its students, so it is only natural that the College will take part in this program, having a dedicated booth that will showcase the latest educational technologies Apple is providing. This booth will be named "Apple on Campus @ Dubai Men's College" '.
