In an effort to install the best global practices, the department has teamed up with various specialized organizations such as the UAE Accounting Department Association and the UAEU College of Business and Economics to organize an Accounting Training Course for the duration of six months.

As per Colonel Obaid bin Sorour, Deputy Director of DNRD:

'These courses come as part of DNRD's plan to assist all its employees in increasing their capabilities in all areas so that they can render the best and fastest services to customers.'

Lectures will be offered by the UAEU professors of Business and Economics College to increase the staff members' accounting knowledge and expertise.

DNRD also organized a three-day course on 'report writing skills' to expose the participating staff to the best practices in forming and writing accurate investigative reports that effectively highlight the problematic areas and provide better solutions. The course was given by Dr. Sami Abdeen, Professor at Moubrarak Police Academy in Egypt.
