Dubai Knowledge Village organizes Contract Management workshop

Key commercial issues in the contract management process, types and forms of contracts, specifications as well as strategic analysis and risk assessment were some of the focus areas of the seminar on "Contract Management", organised by Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), regional leaders in human capital management and a member of TECOM Investments.

Drawing 100 business professionals from various industries, the seminar was organized in partnership with DKV-based Global Project and Process Management Association (GPPMA), an organization that helps and supports professionals in the global project and process management industry, as well as Sukad FZ LLC, a management centre of excellence providing clients with a wide range of professional management services.

In addition to exploring key business drivers, external interfaces and the value added role of procurement, the workshop also studied the relevance of contract management to organizational objectives, supply market analysis, market intelligence and market structures. Portfolio analysis, procurement positioning and contract strategies were also discussed by seminar panellists.

Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director, Dubai Knowledge Village and Dubai International Academic City, said:
