Zain expects 2008 income to hit $6bn

Dr Saad Al Barrak, CEO of Bahrain-based global telecom giant Zain, said he expects his company to reach $6 billion in income this year before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, reported Bahrain Tribune. Al Barrak also said 2008 would be a milestone year for the company as its customer base will reach 100 million and it will become the first company to have 100 brands.
