Zain hosts world renowned consultant Dr Stephen Covey

Best selling author, world-renowned management consultant and the recipient of many international awards, Dr Stephen Covey visited Bahrain for a unique one-day seminar, by invitation of Zain.
During the workshop attended by over 200 senior Zain managers from across its 22 operations in the Middle East and Africa, Dr Covey covered many key areas on how Zain personnel can increase their effectiveness, professionally and personally, helping them to succeed by unleashing their power to focus and execute on their top priorities.

Dr Covey is the recipient of many awards ranging from International Man of Peace to the National Fatherhood Award and an internationally respected leadership authority, family expert, teacher, organizational consultant and author who has dedicated his life to teaching principle-centered living and leadership to individuals, families and organizations. Dr. Covey is probably best known as the author of the international bestseller, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People that was named the #1 Most Influential Business Book of the Twentieth Century. Other best sellers include First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families.
At a press conference with local and international media during a break for lunch, Dr Covey and Dr Al Barrak talked of their hopes for the event. "I was delighted to be invited here by Zain and very much looked forward to meeting and talking with Dr Al Barrak and Zain personnel. This is an exciting part of the world with so much vibrancy and growth - not least of all from Zain - and I hope today's presentations and ideas can play some role in contributing to the continued successful business growth for the company" commented Dr Covey.

The Zain brand is wholly owned by Mobile Telecommunications Company KSC, which is listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Code : ZAIN). The company had a market capitalization of over $28.5bn on 1 March, 2008.
