The participation is part of a strategy to highlight Dubai Maritime City's state-of-the-art maritime infrastructure, sustainable development concept, and sophisticated technology, which have been designed to boost Dubai's reputation as a destination of choice in the maritime industry. DIBS, one of the most important maritime events worldwide, provides Dubai Maritime City an excellent marketing platform through its increasing participation of international visitors and exhibitors year-on-year.

"Dubai Maritime City is a manifestation of Dubai's commitment to become a central maritime hub in the region and a powerhouse in the global maritime industry. The maritime complex has been designed to incorporate the highest levels of environmental standards, quality control and technology. We have lined up exciting presentations to highlight our latest achievements and construction progress at Dubai Maritime City, which I am sure the boating community will be looking forward to,"

said Nawfal Al-Jourani, CMO, Dubai Maritime City.

Dubai Maritime City has signed a two-year agreement to be the Platinum Sponsor of DIBS, as part of its commitment to further develop the Gulf's maritime sector by supporting all maritime activities in the region. Dubai Maritime City has been established to be the main supply, service and refit centre for leisure boats as well as industrial and defence vessels, putting it in a strategic position to effectively address all requirements of the global maritime community.

"Dubai Maritime City has progressed remarkably well as we are now moving a year ahead of schedule. This truly reflects our desire to push beyond traditional boundaries and break new ground in the development of the maritime sector. Our participation this year will be critical as we intensify our efforts to attract international investors and secure a significant share of the global market," said Al-Jourani.

Dubai Maritime City will highlight its fully integrated facilities that cater to all maritime-related businesses and activities, which are segmented into six distinct districts: Harbour Offices, Harbour Residences, Maritime Centre, Academic Quarter, Marina District, and the Industrial Quarter managed by Dubai Drydocks. Also to be presented at the exhibition is Dubai Maritime City's excellent investor-friendly policies, which include free-zone benefits, proactive government support, tax holidays and many other important maritime services.

Various development projects are now underway all over Dubai Maritime City after all the plots have been sold out to several regional and international developers and contractors. Additionally, all developers have been required by Dubai Maritime City to secure 'green building' certification for their projects to ensure strict environmental protection compliance and long-term stability and sustainability of the maritime complex.
