Etisalat participates at the Crisis and Emergency Management Conference

Etisalat is taking part in the Crisis and Emergency Management Conference held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre this week.

The company is demonstrating its strategies and logistical strength to respond efficiently and quickly to break in service.

Etisalat displayed a car equipped to be a satellite broadcast station able to offer Etisalat services for 2G and 3G customers.

It is designed to work in locations where a break occurs in Etisalat's normal communication services. This station provides a channel of communication and allows Etisalat to offer its services to its customers in the areas where a break has occurred.

This mobile station is unique because of its capability to provide a superior alternative communications services quickly. It deploys with special equipment making it a highly efficient independent broadcast station.

The station also has special broadcast technologies to ensure Etisalat's services are independently maintained without the need to rely on Etisalat's main servers.

Sultan Al Dhahiri, Deputy General Manager of Etisalat's Abu Dhabi Region, said:

"This conference is considered one of the most important initiatives that the National Crisis and Emergency Management organization has implemented by placing attention on one of the most vital issues that related to security and safety in the region. It also deals with the utmost readiness and effectiveness of emergencies."
