E-Vision will be demonstrating Video on demand (VOD) systems which will allow users to select and watch video and clip content over a network as part of an interactive television system. The VOD systems will allow users to 'stream' content, allowing viewing in real time. Thus viewers can select a movie or television program to begin playing it on the television set almost instantaneously.
E-Vision customers will benefit from the VOD services through a very intuitive and user friendly interface. Customers will also enjoy innovative applications related to Real Time VOD such as Catch Up TV and Start Over TV which will allow users to watch programmes that they might have missed.

Users will have the option to select a VOD package on a 'Transaction' basis where they will be able to purchase one single programme/event. They will also be able to select a Video on demand package on a 'Subscription' basis whereby customer can purchase say a subscription of a set of selected movies for a price with the added benefit of additional savings.
E-Vision will be putting together a exciting array of content for VOD customers in various languages ranging from Arabic content to the latest movies from Hollywood. & Bollywood. The content will also encompass sporting events, serials , talk shows and other programming to complete a wide selection for customers.
