Abu Dhabi Airports Company Board appoints CEO

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Rudy Vercelli to the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Vercelli will join ADAC on March 20 and will provide leadership, vision and strategic business planning. He will direct a major development plan for expanding the overall airport infrastructure at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in order to meet the demands of a fast growing aviation market, in the world's most dynamic region.

Rudy Vercelli will become ADAC's first CEO reporting to the Board of Directors. He brings exceptional experience in aviation and airport management to ADAC, following a successful career developing and managing growing airports, including Doha, Buenos Aires and Bombay International.

Mr Vercelli has been the Chief Operating Officer at Mumbai International Airport since 2006, where he was responsible for the strategic leadership and vision to build an efficient and effective airport company. He established, implemented and delivered against the long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies of the company, while developing value-creation for shareholders.'

Welcoming the appointment, HE Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman and Managing Director at ADAC said:
