About the Office of the IT Director of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany
The IT Director is responsible for the IT strategy, IT policy and IT security of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. His work focuses on political coordination of the Ministry's responsibilities for the information society, towards the German Bundestag, at international level as well as towards the business community. Issues concerning the management of IT projects are at the forefront of its activities. The Federal Government Coordination and Advisory Agency for IT in the Federal Administration (KBSt) is also assigned to his Office. Alongside many years of reliable advisory activities, other important activities of the KBSt focus on setting up central IT infrastructures of the Federation. Issues relating to IT security, such as the electronic signature or security of the Internet, constitute another focus. The IT Director's Office exercises the supervisory control over the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

About ADSIC
The Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Committee (ADSIC) is a government entity created in October 2005 by Executive Council resolution No.33, issued by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. ADSIC's role is to develop, drive and support various initiatives within the Government to transform government services in the Emirate. A key objective of this transformation is to establish a modern, efficient and citizen-centric e-Government platform to match the best in the world.
ADSIC's core mandates include:
• Improve Government performance and revise / simplify procedures in the departments, authorities and administrations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
• Provide an electronic link between the local departments, authorities and administrations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as between the latter, the federal Government and other local Governments in the UAE
• Develop an overall holistic Government Service Optimization Strategy supported by implementation guidelines and recommendations
• Execute and manage the realization of this Strategy
