Additionally, a BMW M3 and BMW M6 will be the official safety cars on the Losail Circuit for the duration of the three day championship.

This year's MotoGP race, to be held from March 7-9, will mark the first time ever that the world's fastest sportbikes race takes place at night under floodlights. Qatar's Losail Circuit, at 5.38 km is the second longest MotoGP racetrack in the world.
"By organizing the first ever night MotoGP race, Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation is making a bold statement to the world," explained Majdalani. "Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, there has been a renaissance in sports in the country, with Qatar hosting prestigious international events such as the Asian Games, MotoGP, tennis & golf tournaments and now the bid for the 2016 Olympics.
"Alfardan Automobiles promises to maintain its association with sporting events in Qatar, as well as supporting all initiatives to continuously encourage sports in the country."
Alfardan Automobiles will also display of several state of the art BMW cars and motorcycles at its dedicated boutique at the grandstand area of the Losail circuit, where spectators will be able to view a variety of BMW accessories and lifestyle products.
