Vice Versa launches Affiliate Partner programme for the travel industry at ITB 2008, Berlin
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, March 06 - 2008 at 15:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Vice Versa International, the company behind the instant cash-reward card exclusively for travellers to Dubai has announced the launch of a unique Affiliate Partner programme at ITB 2008.
The Affiliate Partner programme is primarily aimed at the on-line community (including city and travel portals, tour operators, travel agents and airlines) but is also applicable for businesses handling visitors once they have arrived in Dubai. Partners will get the opportunity to offer their customers, the Vice Versa Welcome Package as a further value-added benefit in their value proposition for destination Dubai.
Affiliate partners are rewarded with an additional revenue stream generated through attractive commissions earned through a revenue model based on card usage. They can also become a co-brand within the Vice Versa Welcome Package - further cross promoting benefits to customers.
Kira Milan, Founder and Managing Director of Vice Versa International, says "Many visitors see Dubai as an excellent destination for shopping, dining and entertainment and many premium travellers looks to upscale packages from tour operators or airlines who can demonstrate they understand their customer's needs.
"By integrating a lifestyle oriented reward card such as the Vice Versa smart card into their comprehensive package, they are widening the scope and enriching the quality of their service offerings to suit the sophisticated tastes of their clientele. This is good news for all concerned."
The Vice Versa card package is complimentary to the Affiliate Partners as well as to the travellers to Dubai. The card is presented along with a pocket sized Premium Guide in sparkling silver and gold colors, and includes a Dubai city map, shopping mall guides and a full listing of more than 275 partner outlets offering up to 20% instant cash-rewards. Partner outlets are selected with the traveller in mind and include brands like Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein etc. as well as some of Dubai's best dining and entertainment venues. Affiliate Partners can offer the Vice Versa card to clients without requiring them to register or submit documentation.
Because the Affiliate Partner programme covers both the digital environment and the on-site destination specific business, the Vice Versa card will be promoted both online and in Dubai. It can also be tailored to suit a first time visitor or a frequent traveller, through the offer of either a Gold or Silver card package.
For the on line business, Vice Versa can be offered as dynamic packaging, banners and text- links depending on the nature of the portal. The dynamic packaging option is designed for airlines, travel and activity portals with existing product engines, whereas the banner and text-link options are meant for city, news and guide portals that do not have any booking engine. When the traveller clicks on a banner, they will automatically be re-directed to the Vice Versa website for online registration. Once the card is in use in Dubai, the affiliate partner receives commission adding a new revenue stream to their business and great benefits to their customers.
Affiliate partners are allocated a specific partner login ID and password, giving access to a daily online reporting system which helps to monitor and track the card's usage patterns - crucial information delivering a win-win scenario for both the travellers and the affiliate partners alike.
