S.S. Lootah Ready Mix wins MRM Award

'The vision of UAE's Leadership in promoting excellence in business boosts the performance of the corporate sector', said Eng. Yahya Lootah, CEO and Vice Chairman of S.S. Lootah Group, on receiving the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award 2007 (MRM) in the Manufacturing category, for S.S. Lootah Ready Mix, part of the UAE based business conglomerate S.S. Lootah Group.

Eng. Yahya Lootah received the award from His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Department and Chairman of the Emirates Airlines Group.

Commenting on the award, Eng. Yahya Lootah said, 'The MRM award is an outcome of the great vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to encourage UAE Businesses in the private sector to lead the economic growth of the region and compete at a global level by incorporating business excellence as a core value.'

'We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on their continued success in supporting the business sector by facilitating the adoption of best practices by companies', added Eng. Yahya Lootah.

He also thanked the Jury chaired by HE Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy and all members of the Award committee for their effort in making this initiative a success.
