Mawarid Finance strongly participates in the National Career Exhibition

The three-day exhibition is open to all visitors, with last year's event attracting over 12,000 visitors, with a large number of university students from across the UAE who aspire to land a career in the country's lucrative banking and financial sector.

Commenting on the company's strong participation in the National Career Exhibition, Mr. Mohammed Al Naiami, CEO of Mawarid, said, "We are so glad to participate in this year's event and it's really a good opportunity for us to meet with a large number of educated UAE nationals and facilitate their search for a proper job in the local markets.

"Most of the well established and professional organisations in the country are focusing on encouraging young, UAE nationals to be more involved in the private business sector, especially banking and finance, and the National Career Exhibition is the ideal place for those young minds to know the market more and look for a job."

This participation is the first of its kind for "Mawarid Finance" in the National Career Exhibition, and the company stressed that it will participate in this event annually with an aim to enhance its team and provide more opportunities for all highly qualified locals. This comes as part of the company's strategy to support Emiratisation in the country.

Mawarid's participation also provides a chance for all national students, especially those who are yet to register for the "Tamaiaz Award" that was recently launched by the company. This award aims at enhancing creative spirits and encouraging innovative students & fresh graduates in the UAE.

Mr. Al Naiami said that the award is attracting a lot of interest during the exhibition from a high number of students who are excited to participate. He also mentioned that the judging committee will evaluate all applications once registration is complete in order to specify who'll be nominated for the final stages of the award.

Over the past few years, the UAE government has been introducing different initiatives and programmes to train the national youth and facilitate their entry into the job market so they can play an effective role in building the nation and participate in its economic development.

The Emiratisation drive has been intensified lately in the wake of the increasing number of educated national youth entering the job market, with the banking and financial sector playing a proactive role in promoting this Emiratisation policy.

"The Tenth National Career Exhibition is one of the largest and most comprehensive events of its kind in the region and it aims at helping companies and organisations meet their strategic human resource requirements. It is also important to support the Emiratisation drive by employing more local experts," Al Naiami concluded.

The National Career Fair is taking place at Expo Center Sharjah from 5th to 7th March and is being organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in association with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Human Resources Development Committee in the Banking sector, and Emirates Institute for the Banking and Financial Studies.
