Knowledge Horizon president speaks on strategic leadership

Dr Ma'en Al Qatamin, President, Knowledge Horizon recently delivered a seminar on Building Sustainable Competitive Advantage through Strategic Leadership at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Muscat.

The seminar forms part of Knowledge Horizon's mission of keeping professionals in the region up to date with current business thinking and practice.

Under the guidance of Dr. Al Qatamin, Knowledge Horizon is an international knowledge transfer organization offering Cambridge Management Awards in Oman, UAE, Europe and the Middle East.

With a PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, the Knowledge Horizon President has earned the reputation as a business leader and academic with clear strategic vision and future-oriented thinking.

According to Abeer Al Jasim, Head of Professional Qualifications at Knowledge Horizon's Oman branch: "Dr. Al Qatamin shared with the audience his views on leadership in today's global business environment, based on his own extraordinary experience."

"We designed the seminar specifically to extend our student's understanding of management and help them apply this understanding to the workplace. Students completing the Cambridge International Diploma programs in Management and Project Management at Knowledge Horizon can expect to have a significant career in public service or the private sector, suggests Hussain Mohammed, MD, Knowledge Horizon's Oman branch: "It's the aim of our courses that graduates will eventually become senior managers right up to the level of chief executive. Indeed, we fully expect the programmes to enhance the career paths of our students," remarks Hussain.
