The Emirates Academy strengthens consultancy, training and development team

The Emirates Academy, part of Dubai-based luxury international hospitality group, Jumeirah, has announced the appointment of Mr. Mike Newnham as Head of Consulting and Training and Mr. Shaun Harper as Director of Professional Training and Development.
Shaun has been Manager of Professional Training and Development at The Emirates Academy since last year, where he has been facilitating and developing professional training courses for all aspects of the service industry as well as managing a team of training consultants. Shaun previously set up his own Training and Development company in the UK after working for the Hilton group as Regional Human Resources and Learning Development Manager.
The expertise shared by Mike and Shaun significantly broadens the services offered by the Consultancy and Training team to provide human resources and training support that span the employee life cycle and embrace both strategic and operational initiatives.
Ron Hilvert, Managing Director of The Emirates Academy, said: "We are delighted to be announcing the recent appointments within The Emirates Academy team in what is a very exciting time for all of us. The knowledge and experience that both Mike and Shaun will bring to the Department will help us to further develop the key strengths of the department as well as The Emirates Academy in general."
