The main objective of this initiative- which was the first of its kind- was to enhance the students' language skills and put to practice their theoretical knowledge.
The debate contributed to the students' holistic learning curve, and covered two major topics: schools uniforms and England versus India as a travel destination.
At the end of the session, awards were given out to the Best Introduction, Best Debate Team, Best Speaker, and Best Conclusion.
Commenting on these events, Sandra Zaher, ELI Director said, "Holding debates is a true learning process for our students, since it teaches them on how to carry out proper research, hold discussions in class and present publicly. We received great feedback from all the participants, and we are already planning our next debate!"
