Silver Cloud cruise ship to make 3 round trips to Dubai in March

English cruise ship Silver Cloud that arrived at the Dubai Cruise Terminal in Port Rashid Complex on Saturday for a one-day sojourn left here Sunday with about 462 passengers including 215 crew members.

The cruise that docks in Dubai, leaves the passengers here to exchange with others as most of them make one way through air.

A total of 241 passengers left the cruise while 271 replaced them on its return here Sunday.

The vessel will dock in Dubai again on March 16 to leave next day and make the final visit on March 25, 2008.

The cruise ship passengers were mostly Briton nationals. The passengers and crew members were accorded a traditional Arabian welcome at the state-of-the-art terminal, operated by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

The ship-shaped cruise terminal measures 3300 square metres and is able to accommodate two ships simultaneously on a 335-metre quay.
