Abdullah Al Amery, Arts and Culture Director, Abu Dhabi Authority of Culture and Heritage (ADACH), Premium Sponsor of The Contemporary Art Show, explained that ADACH is keen on sponsoring and supporting important cultural activities that present creative Arab artists of international standard and is supportive of exhibitions taking place in the capital that preset the work of such artists specially if they are supported by seminars and workshops for university students resulting in great academic benefit, exactly like the upcoming exhibition of Nabil Helou within The Contemporary Art Show.

Al Amery also said that the local cultural boom has become obvious ever since ADACH started an unprecedented momentum of cultural activities positioning Abu Dhabi as a pioneer within the region and the world with the infrastructure ready for such a prime responsibility.

Nael Gharzeddine, General Manager of Spinoza Production and Events Management Agency (SPINOZA), founder of THE CONTEMPORARY ART SHOW, said: "Nabil Helou has been awarded repeatedly for exceptional work from North American, European and Middle Eastern museums. His works are permanently displayed in international cultural centers and his participation in The Contemporary Art Show will be the first for him in the Gulf region." Nael Gharzeddine continued: "Nabil Helou is a young international sculptor with a rich academic background: a university professor teaching art and sculpture at the ALBA university in Lebanon (1995-2000). Benefiting from Nabil's academic interest and experience, SPINOZA has planned to involve Abu Dhabi universities and colleges and their respective students in a rich and unique academic agenda for Nabil Helou, including workshops, seminars and expo visits"

"The Contemporary Art Show marks our first anniversary in Abu Dhabi and our commitment to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, in positioning Abu Dhabi as a hub on the regional and international cultural map and an idol of cultural experience and exchange," said Nael Gharzeddine, "SPINOZA is committed to social development, evident in every event we manage with our highest quality standards and professionalism that we introduce to the Abu Dhabi social events field."

The Contemporary Art Show is a monthly exhibition featuring a different artist every month for a solo exhibition of contemporary art. The art on display will vary every time; photography, oil/water painting, sculpture and installation-art, created by Middle Eastern yet internationally renowned artists whose great work has never been to Abu Dhabi before.
