- PRESS RELEASE
In the framework of its social responsibility legacy, Zain Kuwait was a major contributor to the success of the 4th Autism Walkathon, organized at the beginning of March by the Kuwait Center for Autism on the Gulf Road.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuwait's ex Health Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah said, "We are delighted with the high turnout and numbers of individuals showing their support. Occasions such as these allow people from all walks of life to demonstrate their solidarity with this important cause."
A large number of Zain employees attended the event as sponsors and participants, in yet another successful social participation by the company.
The event, which was held one month ahead of the International Day for Autism, will be followed by several activities to shed light on this important social issue.
Zain continues to support the community as part of its Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) programs, with major emphasis on education, health and other relevant social issues.
