In total, some 1200 participants took part in the recurrent event, which kicked off at the swimming complex and finished at the Green Island, where participants and winners were honored by organizers and sponsors.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuwait's ex Health Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah said, 'We are delighted with the high turnout and numbers of individuals showing their support. Occasions such as these allow people from all walks of life to demonstrate their solidarity with this important cause.'
A large number of Zain employees attended the event as sponsors and participants, in yet another successful social participation by the company.
The event, which was held one month ahead of the International Day for Autism, will be followed by several activities to shed light on this important social issue.
Zain continues to support the community as part of its Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) programs, with major emphasis on education, health and other relevant social issues.
