Al Masaood Automobiles launches 2008 Altima Coupe
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, March 10 - 2008 at 15:10
- PRESS RELEASE
Al Masaood Automobiles, exclusive distributors for Nissan and Infiniti in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain have commenced sales of the all new 2008 Altima Coupe.
The Altima Coupe is available with Nissan's new generation Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) designed to create a true synergy between engine and transmission with smooth, responsive, fluid-feeling performance and efficient operation.
Nissan Altima Coupe's unique exterior design is intended to stand out in a crowd of sedan-based two-door models. A lot of thought and strive for distinction resulted in its magnetic, perfectly proportioned style with a shorter wheelbase, shorter overall length and lower height than the Sedan. The new dramatically designed Nissan Altima Coupe presents a new expression of style, individuality and personal appearance.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. David Radcliffe, General Manager, Al Masaood Automobiles, commented "Today, the Altima generation is expanding its range with the introduction of the Nissan Altima Coupe which offers exciting style, outstanding performance, durability and reliability. The Nissan Altima name and outstanding reputation adds great credibility to the new Nissan Altima Coupe - and the Coupe makes the Nissan Altima brand stronger by appealing to a new segment of buyers. The recently launched Altima Sedan is enjoying unprecedented success and we are confident that the Altima Coupe will be a huge success with its winning combination of unique style, sporty performance and advanced technology."
The smaller size and lighter overall weight also contribute to the Nissan Altima Coupe's sportier driving feel - other desired attributes of the typically younger, more performance-oriented coupe buyers. The sporty newcomer is sure to draw buyers' attention and enthusiasm.
The Altima Coupe utilises Nissan's all-new, highly acclaimed "D" platform with increased body rigidity and a redesigned suspension. This new platform was developed with the objective of making Altima one of the best performing large front-wheel drive vehicles available globally.
The exhilarating driving pleasure comes from the award-winning V6 engine, the best-in-class handling and the responsiveness feeling provided by the Xtronic CVT transmission. Also contributing to the Altima Coupe's sporty performance feel are an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Traction Control System (TCS).
The list of impressive passenger amenities includes standard Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, BoseŽ audio system with 9 speakers including an auxiliary audio input for iPod, built-in Bluetooth hands-free phone system, dual-zone automatic climate control and steering wheel-mounted controls (includes Bluetooth system, Audio system and Cruise control).
The new Altima Coupe also comes equipped with a number of safety features, including Zone Body construction with front and rear crumple zones and Advanced Air Bag System (AABS), which includes dual-stage front supplemental air bags, available side-impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Al Masaood Automobiles has a total of five showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain which include the flagship state of the art showroom at Najda, Khalidiya, Beda Zayed and two exclusive showrooms in Al Ain.
For the convenience of customers all Al Masaood showrooms are open from Saturday through till Thursday from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 9 pm allowing customers an opportunity to drop in as per their convenience.
