Dubai World Central (DWC) - DuServe announces short training program on the 'Recent trends in utility distribution network automation' from 17-19 March 2008 at Movenpick Hotel, Bur Dubai.
Automation is penetrating in all segments of the power grid ranging from generating stations to transmission and distribution substations, and down the feeder to the point of customer connection and beyond.
Two issues are particularly important: how the automation may be integrated in enterprise wide solutions and what are the economic impacts of improved reliability and security of operation of the power network gained by automation.
