Dubai Real Estate Institute cements ties with Sweden

His Excellency Bruno Beijer, Ambassador of Sweden to the UAE; Mats Panlson, Director of the Swedish Trade Office in Dubai, and Klas Ljungberg, Deputy Ambassador of Sweden to the UAE, visited the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) premises, the region's first academic institute for real estate studies.
The Swedish delegation was keen to gain first hand information on the delivery of the graduate diploma programme on real estate management being offered at DREI in partnership with Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH), the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The delegation interacted with the DREI faculty and students to learn about the programme's progress.
The visit was aimed at providing support to the partnership between DREI and KTH, while exploring opportunities to expand the Dubai institute's ties with other Swedish educational institutions. Dr. Al Shehhi expressed the institute's commitment to developing the regional real estate industry's human capital and future generation of leaders through providing advanced academic and professional development solutions.
During an extensive tour of the DREI premises which included the Resource Centre, the Swedish delegation commended the Institute's state of the art facilities. The visit concluded with Dr. Al Shehhi presenting a unique memento to His Excellency Bruno Beijer.

About Dubai Real Estate InstituteAs the first real estate academic institution in the region, the Dubai Real Estate Institute aims to enrich and broaden the knowledge and competencies of real estate professionals and managers at all levels.
