Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman Dubai World said on the occasion:
"Dubai has achieved continuous fast paced economic growth in the last few years becoming a globally recognised business centre. We are now focusing our strategic efforts on realising Dubai's vision of building a centralised information and technology hub where ideas materialise into innovative solutions. Through TechnoPark we will utilise the advancements in technology and knowledge-based systems in a specific way, which when channelled and applied to industry, will benefit the region as a whole."
Mrs. Salma Hareb, CEO Jafza and Economic Zones World stated: "This is a very exciting time for TechnoPark as we watch the fruits of our efforts come to fruition and see our grand vision unfurl. The new corporate identity of TechnoPark is indeed a fitting one for us, as we are very much in the business of facilitating synergistic partnerships between businesses and technological institutions which will represent the bold new future of Dubai.
"TechnoPark will not just attain a progressive position for our people in the world but will also build a society, based on knowledge economy that will be able to compete globally. The initiatives being undertaken here will be beneficial to all the key sectors of the society, including business, education, research and development. Our relentless commitment to quality and unparalleled customer service standards will continue in the same manner and we trust our clients will take to our new corporate identity and the new look."
The new corporate identity, unveiled to mark the revolutionary phase of TechnoPark signifies the company's core vision and values reiterating its commitment towards identifying new growth opportunities and leveraging business partnerships that lead to a synergy of ideas. It also graphically depicts the company ideology of constant evolution and open possibilities - using real-world application oriented ideas that move beyond the ordinary.
Earlier this month, TechnoPark revealed details of one its most ambitious projects to date - the Dubai Institute of Technology (DIT), a dynamic initiative that aims to bridge the gap between those who generate technology and those who generate businesses and investments, resulting in a world-class research, technological development and innovation centre.
Also, last year the company revealed details of an enhanced master plan that together with the visionary DIT initiative is one of the several strategic projects TechnoPark has embarked upon - shedding light on the direction the company has taken.
TechnoPark, in the last twelve months, has entered into a string of alliances with leading science and technology institutions such as Boston University College of Engineering, University of Texas (Austin), Fraunhofer-Gesellscaft of Germany, Intel Corporation, Muscat-based Middle East Desalination Research Center, the World Association of Industrial & Technical Research Organization (WAITRO), Potential, Renaissance Venture Fund (California) and International Nanotech Bridge, among others.
