Saudi Arabia has given Pakistan $300m in aid to help promote economic stability in the south Asian, reported Bloomberg. Pakistan's Finance Ministry in Islamabad said the aid 'is very timely and will help Pakistan in meeting budgetary gaps effectively and promoting macro-economic stability'. The ministry said the deficit had widened because of high global oil prices.
