FNC condemns Danish cartoons

The UAE's Federal National Council has condemned the republishing of cartoons depicting Prophet Mohammad by some Danish newspapers, reported WAM. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the FNC expressed its 'deep regret and disappointment' over the republishing of the cartoons and called on the Danish government and parliament not to allow a few to negatively affect the relations between Denmark and the UAE and other Arab and Islamic countries.
