The Infocomm Singapore delegation will include solutions providers such as Amdon, BoxSentry, Crimson Logic, Ecquaria Technologies, NCS Pte Ltd and SQLView.

IDA Singapore e-Government Consultancy Deputy Director Tan Weng Suan, who will be presenting the Singapore model to the conference, said;

"This forum provides an ideal opportunity to share our experience and identify areas for further collaboration. Saudi Arabia has one of the most modern IT infrastructures in the region and is pursuing its vision to achieve an advanced e-Government capability by 2010. We are looking forward to building a strong collaborative relationship that will help to further e-government in Saudi Arabia."

With over 25 years of developing and implementing innovative e-government solutions, Singapore is well-placed to share its experience and insights with governments in the Middle East. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has in fact partnered with Singapore company CrimsonLogic to develop SaudiEDI, a customer-focused and value-added IT service organization set up to provide easy-to-use eTrade services for the trading community in Saudi Arabia. Using Singapore expertise, SaudiEDI facilitates fast and transparent interaction between government agencies and businesses, and among government agencies, by leveraging on the advancements of Infocomm technologies.

Also attending the conference will be NCS, an Infocomm Singapore company recently contracted by the Economic Cities Agency (ECA), the lead agency responsible for the development of six new economic cities in Saudi Arabia, to design a world class Smart Services Centre (SSC) that will enhance government and municipality services. Leveraging NCS' extensive experience in e-Government in Singapore and the region, the project places Singapore and Saudi Arabia in partnership to deliver a one-stop solution based on state-of-the-art technologies and international best practices.
