Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed BisB's Chief Executive Officer

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the flagship of Islamic Banking in Bahrain, announced that the Bank's Board of Directors has recently confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed as the Bank's Chief Executive Officer.
"I am also pleased to congratulate Mr. Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed for this appointment which comes as a result of the belief in the positive role played during the previous period of the Bank's operations and what he is currently doing at this critical phase of the Bank's history." Mr. Al Bassam added.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed, BisB new Chief Executive Officer said: "I sincerely hope to carry out my new job duties to the best of my ability."
He added: "I would also like to thank the Bank's Chairman and Board members for this trust given to me as the leadership of such a well-established Islamic bank involves having more responsibilities than being a token of recognition. I would also like to thank all the Bank's staff who have always been up to expectations and have carried out their duties in the best possible manner."
Mr. Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed joined BisB in April 2007 bringing with him a wealth of banking and management experience of some 30 years. He held several key management, executive and senior positions in various local and international banks and financial companies in Bahrain and abroad such as CrediMax, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Saudi National Commercial Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Mohammed has several academic qualifications including an Executive Management Diploma from the University of Bahrain in 1993, MBA in Business Administration from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, UK, in 1998, an Associate Degree from the Gulf Executive Management Programme from Virginia University, US, in 2000 and the General Management Programme from Harvard University, Boston, US in 2006.
