This framework agreement covers all the operations in the Celtel Group throughout Africa as well as the Zain operations within the Middle East

The initial deals will see Jinny Software implement and integrate their robust and ARPU building solution into the Celtel network in Tanzania, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon, with others to follow also in early 2008. Initial orders will result in Jinny's Ringback Tone Server being made available to nearly 16 million new subscribers

Jinny won the deal to become one of Celtel's preferred vendors for RBT after a very detailed technical and commercial evaluation.

Zain Group IT Procurement Manager, Simon Gurrey commented,

"We were already familiar with Jinny because of their work with Zain Jordan and Zain Sudan, and the positive feedback we received from the two operations. Jinny faced stiff competition from other vendors, however we were especially impressed with their responsiveness, flexibility and transparency in all dealings we had with them. Their product has also a proven track record within our operations, which ultimately made our decision easier."

Jinny's Regional Director for Middle East, Africa and Asia, Aniket Deuskar commented, "We are obviously very proud of our achievement in winning this business with the Zain Group. This is a direct result of the years of hard work by all the Jinny team in working with Zain and in ensuring the product is competitive both commercially and in terms of features and also in terms of its reliability. We look forward to working with all of the Zain Group and furthering our relationship with them."
