Senior Honeywell Process Solutions leadership including Jack Bolick, president, and Norman Gilsdorf, vice president and general manager for EMEA, will open the three-day conference. The comprehensive agenda is designed for Honeywell customers by the Middle East Steering Committee, which is composed from Honeywell customers. The agenda features presentations from Honeywell and industry experts, as well as an extensive range of live demonstrations of the latest Honeywell technology including OneWireless, security solutions and lifecycle management services.
The program also includes several sessions with prominent Honeywell customers such as Saudi Aramco, ADCO, ALBA and GASCO each describing their experience with Honeywell technology. Roundtable discussions will cover topics such as system upgrades, Fieldbus technologies, understanding the Experion platform architecture and operator effectiveness and alarm management.
In addition, Maxime Edgard Chaya, the first Lebanese to have planted his country's flag on Mount Everest in May 2006 and at the South Pole in December 2007, will be a featured guest speaker. Chaya's next challenge will be the North Pole in 2009. Very aptly, Chaya's speech during the conference will be entitled: 'There is an Everest for everyone.'
"The global and regional business environment is becoming increasingly competitive, and it has become even more crucial companies to adopt technology solutions and strategies that improve business results," said Larry Perkins, regional general manager, Honeywell Process Solutions Middle East.
"This is the underlying theme of the 2008 conference where we, and our customers, will demonstrate how to tackle these challenges by implementing workable solutions and strategies for a long-term and sustainable competitive advantage."
