Land Rover supports Mountain High Arctic Women's Challenge

Land Rover has extended its support, for the second consecutive year, to Mountain High's adventure enthusiasts in preparation for an adventure challenge in the quest to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Themed 'Arctic Women's Challenge', the challenge will take place in Svalbard, 600 miles from the North Pole, from April 26 to May 4 2008 and will bring together people from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and age-groups for a common cause of controlling the spread of breast cancer through education and prevention.

12 Team members, including a breast cancer survivor and two Emarati sisters, are currently training at Ski Dubai, to adjust to climate change and familiarize with the extreme cold temperatures they will face in the Arctic.
