- PRESS RELEASE
Horizon Development Chairman receives 'Leadership Achievement Award' at Jordan Economic Forum.
Upon receiving the prestigious award, Sheikh Bahaa R. El Hariri said: "The importance of the Jordan Economic Forum is not limited to the fact that it provides opportunities for tapping into the economic growth of the region, but rather that it correlates that economic growth to the social, educational and cultural development in our Arab world. Furthermore, I hold Jordan in reverence and deep admiration for establishing a model for balanced growth in a climate of stability, under the noble vision and leadership of His Majesty".
He added: "We have great faith in the future of Jordan, which has shone its rays like a bright sun through its success stories that continue to inspire; stories that we at Horizon hope to perpetuate in this beloved country."
In line with its vision, Horizon seeks to play an important role in Jordan through pioneering projects that are bound to have positive impact on the country as a whole.
Jordan offers excellent opportunities for investors in a stable environment with an advanced legislative system and a fixed monetary policy that inspires confidence and trust. With a number of free economic zones and a highly educated human capital, Jordan is without a doubt an ideal investment destination.
A look at Horizon's mega projects in the Kingdom, whether the New Abdali Downtown in the capital Amman or its planned project in Aqaba, is the best indication of the opportunities that are waiting to be transformed into concrete achievements and benchmarks for well-being and prosperity.
Held annually under the patronage of H.M. King Abdullah Bin Hussein II at the Dead Sea, JEF is a crucial meeting point for major real estate players wishing to invest in the Jordanian market. Horizon, whose list of projects includes the much anticipated Abdali project in central Amman, and other landmark projects in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, seized the opportunity to present its portfolio of projects to investors and other key figures in Jordan's rising real estate sector.
The Forum set the stage for high-level meetings and discussions between the management of Horizon and prominent personalities present at the event, including notable government officials, financiers and investors, and regional and international business leaders,.
Guests were given an exclusive glimpse into Horizon's upcoming projects thanks to the company's exhibition stand which featured a scale model of its milestone Abdali project, in addition to live presentations and displays highlighting the role Horizon is undertaking in shaping the regional real estate landscape.
Horizon was established in 2004 with a vision for developing landmark projects that raise the quality of living standards and enhance the environment. Ever since, Horizon has emerged as a leading property investment and development group, actively building up an important portfolio of properties for development, both in Lebanon and across the Arab region, in line with its corporate vision for the future and its continuing quest for sustainable development.
