Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has announced that it has signed deals worth Dhs12bn ($3.3bn) with local and foreign firms for six electricity generation and water desalination projects, reported Gulf News. The contracts also involve work on water reservoirs, substations and a pipeline.
