Nearly three out of four residents in the UAE believes the public transport system in the country is inadequate, according to a survey by Gulf News. The poll, which surveyed 972 UAE residents, found that fewer than 1 in 3 use some form of public transport. Among those who do, taxis are significantly more common than buses (72% as opposed to 58%). However, approval of the taxi service is considerably lower compared to bus service.
