Kuwait Dyslexia Association organizes Dyslexia Screening and Assessment Conference

Kuwait Dyslexia Association is planning to organize the first Dyslexia Screening and Assessment Conference in the Middle East held at Salwa Sabah Al Ahmed Ballroom on March 17-18.

The Conference, sponsored by KIPCO and Mashree Al Khair, will discuss how to assess and screen dyslexia through multiple lectures and practical training on the latest diagnosing technology and techniques.

The Conference will bring together professionals, experts, professors who specialize in testing and treating dyslexia from around Europe and the Middle East.

Mohamed Al Qatami, President of Kuwait Dyslexic Association said:

"We are very happy to be the first association to have managed to organize such an event on a regional scale. It is an honor to have invited these word renown experts, professors and specialists to discuss their professional opinions and experience with dyslexia. Featured at the Conference will be speakers from the United Nations, Ministry of Education, Kuwait Science Development Organization, Kuwait Institute for Research and Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation. There will also be representatives from dyslexia associations from around Europe and the Middle East".


"Finally, I want thank KIPCO and Masharee Al Khair for not only sponsoring this Conference but also for KIPCO's effort towards sponsoring the dyslexia awareness and media campaign during the last year" he concluded.

The Conference is open to individuals who want to learn more about dyslexia and methods of treatment. Those encouraged to attend are educators, childhood development specialists, physicians, parents and other members of Kuwaiti Universities.
