Ahli United Bank announces end of year results

Ahli United Bank (Egypt) has announced its end of year financial results for 2007.

The bank posted Net Profit increase of EP146.8m compared to EP0.2m in 2006, net interest income of EP179.8m, a 38% increase over the same period in 2006 and net operating income of EP282.3m, an increase of 34% compared to the same period in 2006.

Total assets grew from EP4 bn in 2006 to EP5.8bn by December 31, 2007.

Loans to customers increased from EP1.4bn to EP2.5bn, an increase of 134% compared to December 2006.
