The 2008 edition of the exhibition was under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qassimi, member of the Supreme council and Ruler of Sharjah and was held at the Sharjah Expo Centre from 5th to 7th March 2008.
Mr. Mohana Al Mehairi, Human Resources Manager at Emirates Islamic Bank commented on the event saying: 'The exhibition served as an ideal platform for the bank to promote its ongoing Emiratization drive. Our vision is to attract a large number of high caliber nationals and give them an opportunity to build their career in an Islamic financial institution'. 'We have a proven track record of Emiratization, with almost 35.4% of our team consisting of UAE nationals. This exhibition gives us an opportunity to build on that foundation. The bank is rapidly expanding and we have intensified our presence at fairs such as this, as we are looking to handpick the best national candidates available to support our growth' he added.
The National Career Exhibition Sharjah 2008 is one of the most anticipated special events of the year, and will feature leading companies from the region's financial and banking sector.
