Barwa outlines $11bn plan

Barwa Real Estate has outlined a QR45bn ($11bn) capital expenditure plan, about three times its present asset base. It is looking at loan syndications and conventional bonds. Barwa's total assets were QR16bn at the end of 2007, after the company made a net profit of QR529.69m. Following its rights issue in February, Barwa added QR1.5bn to its coffers.
