Falconcity of Wonders signs an agreement with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to supply the first phase of the project with electrical power

Construction progress is moving very fast at Falconcity of Wonders. On March 10 2008, Falconcity of Wonders signed an agreement with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for the establishment of a 132 kilowatts electrical plant.

This plant is one of the 4 power stations intended to be built in Falconcity of Wonders and provide electrical power for this mega integrated city.

The construction of the power station was assigned by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to one of its specialized and approved companies that execute DEWA projects.

The total cost of the agreement is 100 million Dirham.

Mr. Salem Almoosa Chairman and CEO of Falcon City of Wonders LLC thanked Mr. Saeed Al Tayyer Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority for their effective and efficient cooperation to conclude this agreement.

Mr. Salem Almoosa added that he is looking forward for future cooperation with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority for the establishment of the rest of the power plants in Falconcity of Wonders.

Occupying more than 40,000,000 square feet, Falconcity of Wonders is an integrated city that accommodates exclusive educational, residential, commercial and entertainment elements.

The city hosts the Wonders of the World, streets for famous international cities, family centers, sports facilities, educational institutions, clinics, and a mega state of the art theme park.

The theme park will cover an area of 4 million square feet and will be built in the most ingenious way to attract the largest number of tourists, covering all ages, nationalities and activities.
