Consolidated Gulf Co. offers installation of Nokia Car Kit at Traffic Week exhibition in Doha

Consolidated Gulf Co (CGC), the biggest retailer of mobile phones as well as the largest Telecom and IT solution provider in Qatar, is actively participating in the 24th GCC Traffic Week to spread the message of safe driving among motorists and the people of Qatar.

At the Traffic Week Exhibition hall in Doha, CGC is offering free installation of Nokia CK-15W, one of the most popular car-kits in the world, to promote safe driving. On buying CK-15W at the CGC stall there, customers are being offered free of cost installation of the car kit during the Traffic Week, which will continue till 14th March.

The CGC stall is also showcasing and informing users about various Nokia car-kits and other very handy products, which help in safe and secure driving.

On the occasion, Anil Mahajan, Head - Business Development, CGC, said, "We have been taking part in the Annual GCC Traffic Week as part of our CSR programme. This time also, we have lined up a series of traffic awareness programmes to mark the event. Besides deputing a full-fledged team to make people aware of a host of Nokia mobiles and accessories and their proper use in safe driving, we are also showing videos to highlight many safety systems that Nokia adopts in its products."

"We are focusing on the young generation to inculcate safe driving values, as we believe that it is important to catch them young to enhance road safety. Our sole aim is to raise public awareness about safe and secure driving. CGC has been participating in such public awareness programmes and distributing free leaflets, posters, brochures and other awareness materials on the Nokia products to ensure safe driving. The Ministry of Interior has really been taking initiatives and organizing road safety and other pubic interest campaigns. Such campaigns do contribute in making people aware of the traffic rules, thus containing traffic violations and accidents in a considerable way," he added.
