SAHARA's participation has been met by a tremendous response from participants, visitors and media, all of whom have shown a keen interest in knowing more about the world's largest public relations agency within the real estate sector.

SAHARA is the voice of over $150bn worth of mega property projects, managing the public relations activities of some of the world's largest real estate firms.

The company's portfolio includes such award-winning and eminent real estate companies as Tameer Holding, Tanmiyat Group, Al Mazaya Holding, ENSHAA Holding, SNASCO, Schön Properties, and Al Hanoo Holding.

SAHARA is exhibiting within the Sharjah stand, as the company is the largest public relations agency in the emirate, managing the public relations activities for many large Sharjah-based corporations and firms, such as the Sharjah Economic Development Department, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Dana Gas, Crescent Petroleum, Gulftainer, and Emirates Investment Group, as well as a number of other leading companies that are operating in the emirate.

Mariam Keblawi, Public Relations General Manager at SAHARA, described the keen interest shown by both participants and the audience in SAHARA's participation at the fair as a sign of success of the Group's plans: "We aim to expand our international network of alliances, with special focus on the Scandinavian Region, to provide quality media and marketing services to larger markets," she said.

"Our participation in TUR 2008, as well as our recent participation in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB 2008), stems from our strategy to enhance collaboration between SAHARA and different media sources across the world, with the aim of laying the foundations for global expansion. Our efforts have started to bear fruit, with our existing network of branches and agents in Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Singapore, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and the GCC countries coordinating to produce quality global media coverage and PR activities for our clients," Keblawi added.

The Swedish International Travel and Tourism Fair is the leading travel and tourism trade fair in Scandinavia, and TUR 2008 has attracted over 1,245 exhibitors from 100 countries, as well as more than 1,985 industry decision makers, and has enjoyed extensive media coverage from over 465 media representatives.

This is SAHARA's second trade fair participation for the first quarter of 2008, following on the heels of its successful participation in ITB 2008, which was held from 5 to 9 March.

SAHARA participated at ITB 2008 via Sharjah's stand, which stole the show and was ranked best stand among Arab and GCC participants.
