"The exhibition is the perfect platform for our goals to build networks in the international market and forms a crucial part of our expansion strategy to create global awareness for our development brands by giving us the opportunity to present them to high-profile decision makers and investors. Our presence in Dubai's property market for over 20 years and our experience helped us revolutionize the notion of creating original concepts by introducing MotorCity a new approach to mixed use developments which includes the world's first F1-X, a Formula One themed leisure destination targeted for the whole family, as well as residential communities like Green Community and UPTOWN, setting our approach apart from the competition."
MotorCity is a development based on a unique automobile and motorsport theme that includes residential, business and leisure opportunities. MotorCity is the latest addition to UP's brands, it is in fact 'a city within a city' with five project components that includes: Dubai Autodrome, F1-X Dubai, Business Park MotorCity and two residential components of UPTOWN MotorCity and Green Community MotorCity. UP was also granted rights to develop F1 theme parks around the world starting with F1-X Dubai scheduled to open its doors to the public in 2009. F1-X will cost $460m to build, over an area of 254000 square metres, and is expected to attract well over one million visitors in the first year, with plans to roll-out globally already underway.
"With a solid plan that includes crossing borders with overseas projects, MIPIM Cannes provides our target market an opportunity to understand the emphasis we place on quality and the diversity of our residential, business and leisure projects through our constant attention to detail," added Azzam.
