Mawarid Finance a strategic partner of the 8th Forum of the Gulf Disability Society in Sharjah

Under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, the 8th Forum of the Gulf Disability Society is being organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Society of Parents of the Disabled.
Mawarid Finance is participating in this forum as a strategic partner and as part of its belief in the importance of serving local society, with all its diversity and in all domains.
Mawarid wants to emphasise that people with special needs are considered an essential and main part of developed communities.
Mr. Mohammed Al Neaimi, CEO of Mawarid said: "Through our participation in the 8th Forum of the Gulf Disability Society in Sharjah and providing support to it, we are participating in enhancing the status of the disabled and improving their abilities, with higher levels of knowledge, education and opportunities for advancement."
Al Neaimi added: "This participation and other efforts are the duties of all local companies, which aim to push development in the country in various fields. And the private sector shall play a very major role in providing assistance to all special needs and committees and all events specialised for them. Because through activating their roles these private organizations will be cooperating largely in enhancing society's improvement in all its sections and combining it all in different sectors to be more effective and to be part of the movement, development and improvement of the country."
The forum will include an elite gathering of academics and researchers and all those interested in the fields of disability and related services, where many lectures and special workshops will take place and a vast amount of research, studies and work papers will be presented.
The forum aims to forge a comprehensive relationship between organisations working in the fields of disability and disabled individuals; and the medical organisations that implement and provide services related for the disabled. Focusing on the importance of related services will provide an effective method in dealing with the problems that special needs people suffer face and will enable key players in this industry to study ways of providing services for them to meet individual needs.
The forum sessions will mainly discuss recent methods in evaluating and providing services for special needs, focusing on the broad spectrum of services including health services, psychological and behavioral services, psychological orientation, art of direction services, as well as mobility and social assistance.
Al Neaimi concluded saying: "This initiative is one of list of initiatives for Mawarid Finance through which we aim to activate and accentuate the role of the local community within all parts and in all fields, whether educational, economical or social".
The target audience for this forum includes special needs groups in the GCC and their parents, members of the Gulf Disability Society, workers with the disabled in authorities, organisations, centers, and programmes, in addition to committees working in the field of disability and related services in all Gulf countries.
