DTCM participates in Swedish Tourism Fair

The Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing (DTCM), along with 10 co-participants from emirate's booming tourism industry, participated in the Swedish International Travel and Tourism Fair (TUR-2008) held in Gothenburg, Sweden from March 13 to 16.

Dubai Stand at the 25th edition of the influential Scandinavian market fair measured 50 square metres. This was Dubai's 14th consecutive year participation in the fair which last year attracted 1245 exhibitors from 100 countries. Marking 98%, each new visitor to the show last year made 9.8 business contacts on average.

Mr. Talal Al Suwaidi, Executive Missions, represented the department at the fair. The co-participants were Al Sondos Suites & Dar Al Sandos Hotel, Alpha Tours Anta Events, Fly Express, Gulf Circle Tours, Jebel Ali International Hotels, Kurban Tours, Net Group, Sunflower Tours and Travco Travel.

The DTCM operates a representative office in Sweden to tap the Scandinavian markets.
