Alcatel-Lucent launches 'Dynamic Enterprise', appoints Jan Zuurbier as VP for the Emerging & High Growth Markets

Alcatel-Lucent has launched the 'Dynamic Enterprise' at the IDC's Middle East CIO Summit 2008 in Dubai, in which the company is actively participating as Gold partner.
During the event, Jan Zuurbier, the newly appointed Sales & Support Vice-President for the Emerging & High Growth Markets for the Enterprise Group who moved to be based in Dubai, will present the new dynamics of enterprise communications and its impact on the competitive transformation of businesses, particularly for the Middle East region.
In this occasion, Alcatel-Lucent revealed its knowledge and expertise in key industries including education, healthcare, hospitality, finance, government, utilities and transport that make it a global industry-leader in customer care, unified communications, IP telephony, security and mobility.
It's noteworthy that Jan Zuurbier was appointed to lead the Sales & Support team for the Emerging & High Growth Markets for the Enterprise group of Alcatel-Lucent in December 2007. In this role Jan runs the sales and support and carries out responsibility for all Enterprise Solution Division business in the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East and India, from Alcatel-Lucent office in Dubai.
Prior to this position, Jan was in charge of Alcatel-Lucent's Enterprise & Vertical business in Europe's North region; and previously Jan led Lucent's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Indirect Sales Unit, managed Alliances, Marketing & Operations and was additionally responsible for Lucent's Partner Sales in Eastern Europe.
