- PRESS RELEASE
In line with their expertise in technical consulting, open source software development and their stanch commitment to their customers, OpenCraft has recently become a silver partner with SugarCRM, the world's leading provider of commercial open source customer relationship management (CRM) software for companies of all sizes.
OpenCraft aims to help companies implement a customer centric approach by implementing and customizing CRM solutions, and providing consultancy to enhance business processes. With this new partnership, OpenCraft will offer its clients services that include installation services, parametrization, customization, consultancy, training, infrastructure works, business intelligence consultancy, integration, maintenance and support, and platform builder and maintenance.
This agreement comes on the heels of two sponsorship endeavors by the company in an effort to give back to both its country and its trade. Through September 19th to 22nd, 2007, OpenCraft officially co-sponsored Drupalcon Barcelona 2007 in Spain. During the international conference, OpenCraft's representatives held a successful session revealing their business know-how and technical knowledge with the system, sharing their experience, insights, and future directions.
"Drupal's role in open source has been tremendous, and its potential growth looks promising," stated Rady Fahmy, Co-Founder and CEO of OpenCraft. "Being an open source enthusiast, we felt the urge to take part and support this initiative to further contribute to the development of the emerging open source industry." In light of this, OpenCraft in late August hosted its 11th TechSeminar about Drupal Scalability and Module Programming at their premises in Cairo. The successful event featured a lecture by Khalid Baheyeldin, an Egyptian Canadian software developer and consultant and a prolific contributor to the Drupal content management system.
The company also continues to take part in local social events, one of which was SOS Music Festival Vol. 5 held on the North Coast. OpenCraft supported this musical event by developing and updating its website and introducing the slogan "software that rocks!!"
Through these and other sponsorships, OpenCraft is strengthening its position as an active contributor in international and local markets. Since its inception on 2004, OpenCraft has grown into a chief player in the regional open source movement. This most recent partnership with SugarCRM is just another testament to the growing force that is OpenCraft.
