In line with the Exhibition's aim of spreading awareness of rational consumption orientated towards environmentally-friendly water and energy consumption, Ducab showcased its entire range of products specifically devised to meet DEWA specifications.
Mr. Andrew Shaw, Ducab's Managing Director said:
"Considered as one of the region's most important platforms of the industry, WETEX provides an opportunity for industry leaders to share the very latest technology and management solutions available in the current rapidly evolving global market. Ducab has devised its very own cutting edge technological developments, products and solutions for its clients".
WETEX 2008 constitutes a unique opportunity for contributors to exhibit products in the fields of water, energy, and environment.
For the first time WETEX allocated a section devoted to Environmental Friendly Projects for green buildings.
"Managing water and electricity resources whilst preserving the environment is high on our agenda. In fact we have witnessed increasing numbers of requests for our advanced cable solutions. Undeniably if it is at the top of our customers and contractors' priority lists, it automatically becomes of high concern to us. Ducab is proud to have partnered and catered to an array of Dubai-based projects such as Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Palace, Dubai International Airport, Dubai Mall, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Marina and Burj Dubai. We are honoured to have been present at WETEX 2008," added Shaw.
Since Ducab's establishment nearly three decades ago, Ducab has maintained its strong position as the leading cable manufacturing company in the GCC.
Equally owned by the Government of Dubai and Government of Abu Dhabi, Ducab's product range covers low, medium and high voltage power cables, control and auxiliary cables, wiring and lead-sheathed cables, Ducab Powerplus medium voltage cables (up to 33kV) and Ducab Smokemaster, low smoke and fume cables.
