RTA appoints nationals in key positions

This step comes in continuation to a series of actions taken by the RTA to allow young competent nationals to assume important positions, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in addition to attracting distinct cadres and expertise contribute to the achievement the ambitious vision and strategic objectives of the RTA, which can be summarized to provide "Safe and Smooth Transport for all."

The decisions included the appointment of Amal Mohamed Al Zaraa as the Human Resources Manager at the Public Transport Agency. She holds BTEC Higher National Diploma in the Business and Management from the Dubai Aviation College in the year 2002, in addition to obtaining a General Business Diploma from Dubai Women's College in 1998. Al Zaraa also occupied the post of Payroll and Staff Relations Manager at the RTA, and prior to joining the RTA, she occupied the post of Human Resources Manager at the Sharjah Ladies Club. Al Zaraa enjoys a good field activity and a variety of administrative capacities, especially in the recruitment of the qualified employees to fill a number of posts at the RTA, in addition to enjoying the qualities of teamwork, cooperation and work under different kinds of pressure. She has many achievements including the formulation of the new permanent and temporary work contracts and others.

Ali Al Mansoori was also appointed as the Green Line Manager at the Rail Agency. He holds a Bachelor Degree from the Engineering College, University of UAE in 2001. Al Mansoori before joining the RTA worked as a Civil Engineer at the Ministry of Public Works, in addition to other posts with several government departments in the UAE. Al Mansoori enjoys a number of managerial and technical skills, including the project management, the highways development and other skills.

The resolutions also included the appointment of Amer Mohammed Al Zahed in the position of Commercial Property Manager. He holds a Master's Degree in the Quality Management (MQM) from the Australian University of Wollongong, Dubai's Campus, and Bachelor Degree in Law from the Dubai Police College and other certificates. Al Zahed occupied a number of positions before joining the RTA including Audit Supervisor at the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation and Assistant Accountant at the Al Habtoor Contracting and Construction Machinery Center. Al Zahed enjoys several skills in quality management, quality assurance, human resources management and other skills.
