Texas Chicken opens in the UAE

Texas Chicken - which features a new look restaurant layout - has been launched in Abu Dhabi.
"We are very pleased to open our first Texas Chicken restaurant in the UAE's capital. The restaurant is the first in the world with the completely new Texas Chicken fresh and trendy look, design and layout," said Yasser Abdel Azim, director of marketing and business development.
Texas Chicken was established in 1952, in San Antonio, Texas USA and is a highly recognized brand in the QSR industry and the second largest quick service chicken company in the world.
"At Texas Chicken we match great quality with great taste. We take pride in treating our customers to premium quality hot meals made of large and wholesome chicken. Always fresh and crunchy with flavour-to-the bone taste. This is our utmost commitment. I am sure Abu Dhabi community will enjoy Texas products, with its focus on a menu offering of a rich variety and the freshest of ingredients," said Abdel Azim.
Texas Chicken has around 1,600 restaurants worldwide, generating sales of about $1bn a year.
