Organized in collaboration with a number of leading training institutions, the new cycle will include 15 specialized programmes offered over the next eight months. The training series will kick off on 15 April with a two day workshop on 'Introduction to Marketing Concepts'.

Ranging between durations of two days and three months, the training programmes will focus on several core areas, including the importance of marketing and communications, finance and accounting, pricing, gathering and analyzing information, managing cash flows, recruiting for start-ups, ideas evaluation and business planning, as well as practical franchising.

Akil Kazim, Director of Operations at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders, said: "In the absence of appropriate knowledge and skill sets, any company, irrespective of size, risks losing its competitive and distinctive edge.

"The Establishment has always taken its enabling services beyond financial and logistical support. We are very keen to provide our members as well other UAE-based entrepreneurs with world class training to enhance their knowledge and competitive capabilities."

Training programmes offered by the Establishment provide business professionals with valuable hands-on expertise and industry know-how on international best practices for operating small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Participants, on their part, are encouraged to share real business experiences in their respective fields.

Subsidized by the Establishment, national and expatriate entrepreneurs enrolling for any of the 15 training programmes are required to pay only nominal registration charges.
